When the University of Louisville wanted a larger than life image of its football team displayed next to Cardinal Stadium, they turned to Independent’s Service Company. The enormous image, 75’ tall x 130’ wide, was installed just before the Cardinals’ season home opener and provided a giant welcome to rival University of Kentucky and the 50,000 plus fans in attendance. It was printed on mesh and reinforced with webbing & grommets on all sides.
To prepare an historic ballpark for a summer collegiate wooden bat league, Independent's Service printed over 2,000 square feet of 12 ounce vinyl for the outfield wall of Samuel Clemens Field in Hannibal, Missouri. An 1,100 square foot image of a rock wall was printed, along with numerous advertisements for local businesses. The 72-foot wide section in center field is 13 ounce green gloss vinyl. Underneath the vinyl, the wall is composed of 2" thick foam installed over ½ inch plywood hung by panel clips.
The University of Southern Mississippi wanted a new image and updated look for its stadium. Independent’s Service Company provided design, production, and coordinated installation of the images.
